In 1972 then President Richard Nixon took a trip to China, while there an unknown to the rest of the world method a healing was discovered called acupuncture. A whole new alternative healing method that’s over 2000 years old comes to light which sparks interest and concerns from medical practioners. Today it is an excepted alternative method.

The ancient Chinese believed that there are energy lines that run throughout our bodies. These lines were sometimes called meridians or the 12 invisible energy lines. If any of these meridians become clogged or blocked it could be the signs of an illness or disease.

When these meridians or lines become blocked the flow of chE can not be acheived as natural designed in the body. People with this knowledge called acupuncturists would insert small stainless steel needles into specific sensors in the body. This would unclog the flow of chE.

Acupuncture or needle piercing stimulates these sensors in the body and sometimes are used with heat, suction, friction and eletromagnetic energy to improve the circulation of blood and assist in healing.

For centuries Acupuncture has been used to relieve the pain of arthritis, surgery and disabling ailments. Fertility and the discomforts of pregnancy can also be helped by acupuncture. The use of acupuncture after a pregnancy, can help with the loss of pregnancy weight.

Over the last 40 years acupuncture has been gaining acceptance in the medical field. although the Chinese were using acupuncture for hundreds of years, the West didn’t acknowledge the uses for such a practice.

This breakthough in acupuncture therapy for patients, will help doctors relieve their patients pain without the use of so many drugs. Patients that have used acupuncture for pain relief stated that they had less need for pain medication than they would have without the acupuncture therapy.

Always do a complete and thorough search when seeking medical help. An acupuncturist is no exception. They must be licensed to practice in your area with the local medical association.

This alternative to drugs is a great addition to any treatment being received.
