Diets, like workingout, can be hard to continue for any length of time. Many diets require you to extensively change your eating habits by avoiding one food group completely, or limiting it to very small amounts can be tough. In addition, diets which center on eating nutritious well-balanced meals versus avoiding foods altogether may be harder to stick to.
